Good question. Last month I had 4 false positives. I only tested with First Response Early positive though. The EPT's were negative through and through.
I tested this month with 5 different brands (a bit obsessive says my OB) and am pregnant. Just got the blood results back today!

I'm confused because I thought that false positives were virtually impossible? Are you saying that yall got faulty preggo tests or had chemical pregnancies?
I think "chemical pregnancy" is an awful and de-humanizing term to describe what is really an early miscarriage. At any rate, they are very common -- perhaps it's just conincidence that several women here had early miscarriages last month? Especially in a group like this, where everyone is testing quite early, it really wouldn't be all that strange.
Jen, it does sound like you miscarried, especially since you tested positive and were late. If the baby dies/fails to implant by the time the blood work is done, then it could in fact come back negative, even though you HAD been pregnant.
The good thing about any of this is that you at least know you are able to conceive, which is a great first step.

I thought so to, but there were several of us who got them last month.

Suzanne.
I just had faulty tests as far as I know.
