I am curious did you see any similarities between your AF visit sympotoms & pg symptoms? I have heard that if you have breast tenderness in PMS than you usually will also have it when you are pg. What other things do you remember? TIA!

When I was pg, even before my test showed positive, I had very AF like symptoms. Pretty much exactly like AF too, which is why i think it's almost impossible sometimes to distinguish between pregnancy and PMS symptoms.

Hi, Cheryl. I've been lurking here a while-will start TTC #2 in August. When I was pg with my dd (which took 8 cycles and she is now 20 months old today!) I had two really noticeable symptoms. One, my breasts were very sore. I noticed it about a week before AF. I had never been one to have sore breasts before AF, though. I experienced the "wetness down there" others have talked about. I actually kept thinking I had started my period because I felt so damp I thought it must be AF (OK, TMI) Also, I had to pee ALL THE TIME. It was ridiculous. I noticed this around 2 days after I had expected AF. I don't remember if I was overly tired or cranky, but I would say overall that I didn't even attribute any of this to pregnancy until I got my BFP. I used Answer brand (not the early, the regular) and it was 4 days after AF was due before I got a BFP. It was so faint, I went for a blood test the next day to make sure I wasn't crazy. Anyway, I know everyone is different, but I had new things plus felt like AF was coming too. Pretty confusing, huh? HTH and GL to you!!!

nope! both times I was pregnant the symptoms for PMS were the EXACT same as pregnancy.

That's why it's not good to look at what are considered "pregnancy signs"... they could be anything. A positive pregnancy test however could not be just anything

Definitely! In fact, if I hadn't been charting, I never would have thought I was pg that cycle. My bbs got sore at exactly the same time they always did before AF, and I had that slightly crampy, AF is on her way feeling. I felt exactly like she was about to show, and continued to feel that way until about a week or so after my BFP.

For both my pregnancies I had what I thought were typical AF symptoms. The one thing I remember being odd though was my first pregnancy I remember being horribly tired and couldn't explain why. Found out a week later I was PG, LOL! With #2 I didn't have that b/c I was already tired all the time as DS #1 was only 10 months old when I got PG w/#2. LOL! But for the most part it just felt like AF was coming.
