Questions about checking temp

So my doctor has me checking my temp every morning now. I have a question about that. My husband wakes up at 4:30 every morning for work, and most of the time it wakes me up. Should I take my temp then or wait until my alarm goes off and temp? Does it affect my temp is I wake up in the middle of the night to put the dogs out or something? What would be the best thing to do? I know I have to check it before I even step out of bed, I'm just not sure if waking up in the middle of the night will affect my temp in the morning

You want to make sure to get 3 solid hours of sleep before temping, so wherever that fits into your schedule will be best.
