Ok so I still haven't gotten my appointment to get my IUD out. I am waiting to hear back from the financial office on the cost since I have to pay for it. ANYway... I have a few questions...

I just had mine out on Janaury 8th and my AF arrived on January 25th - lasted under 24 hours though...

The procedure was easy, didn't feel any different than if you had a pap done.

When I had it first put in, I had light bleeding for a few months, and then nothing for over 4 years.

I am officially fertile now (I guess) - it was a fairly easy process.

Good luck to you!

I love the blinkie that says I walmart!

My IUD cost me $200 for removal. I didn't feel a thing and didn't even bleed at all.

I was breastfeeding when I got mirena put in 7 weeks post partum and had it in for 3 years. (removed Jan 15th) Occasionally I would have about 12 hours of light spotting -not even enough for needing a pad/tampon.

For the past 3 months it started getting heavier and would last a couple days.

Because of that, my doc gave me a green light to TTC right now. I specifically asked and he said I was good to go.

I only had a normal AF the first month after I had my IUD put in. After that I had what I always called "pseudo" periods because I knew what it was but it was nothing more than some very light spotting for a day or so. I always kept track of my cycle though because I had horrible cysts with Mirena and they came exactly 2 weeks after AF. I had
