Raspberry Leaf Tea & Miscarriage

I had a mc with a d&c on 8/14. Since then, I have done a lot of healing and reading. I have been reading a lot about raspberry leaf tea and how it is excellent for the uterine lining and preparing the womb for childbirth.

Since my mc my uterine lining is basically shot. I have been drinking this tea for about a week now.

I have read a few different views on the tea that has me a little upset when it comes to miscarriage. Some articles say that the tea helps prevent miscarriage and then other articles say it causes miscarriage and you should wait until the 3rd tri before drinking it.

I am not pg now and won't be able to ttc until i have 2 cycles. So for now I am drinking the tea for my uterus.

Does anyone know if this is dangerous to drink during pregnancy or not?

I ahven't heard any negative remarks about it at all. I am 8 weeks pg and I drink Mother to Be tea twice per day and it has Raspberry Leaf in it. I have heard nothing but good things about this tea. I drank straight Raspberry Leaf tea everynight for a month before I got pg and then switched to the mommy kind right when I got pg. I'm doing A-ok so far. I have several girlfriends that have drank RL tea throughout their pregnancies from day one and all have healthy beautiful children.

Good luck! - I'm sorry for your loss.

Hi!

I've not heard anything negative to do w/Raspberry Tea as it pertains to pregnancy OR fertility, but have been hearing a LOT about its benefits for ttc women. (I'm new to the ttc world myself, but getting looser w/the acronyms!)

Your post struck a chord w/me because I just recently bought a tea called Preconception Tea on the following site: http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/fertility-tea.html

Just got it and haven't tried it yet, so can't endorse or condemn it, but looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Anywho, good luck to you!
