My husband and I just started trying this past month and I decided to call the doctor to see what I could do about regulating my cycles, so I O

I would call the office again and ask the doctor to call you back to answer your questions.

She's a moron! Don't believe her! When done accurately, temping is completely accurate. More accurate than OPK's, actually. You can get a + OPK without actually Oing, but the temp rise is what actually confirms O. In fact, my OB wanted to test me to see of I was Oing and when I told him my charts showed a clear O pattern every month he left it at that. He has every confidence in charting, and he's a doctor!

Thanks for the response!

Its just hard to tell if the super long cycles are from just getting off the pill or if its really my cycles. I'm actually switching to a new doctor, so I'm trying to be patient and give it at least one more cycle. Its just really frustrating not knowing when I'll O. Its like I would have to do the OPKs forever and ever.

And my temps have kinda gone down as cycles have gone on. Has this happened to anyone?
