Good morning all! I have two questions for everyone. Any help is appreciated.

1) Does anyone else out there have trouble determing the position of their cervix? Maybe I just haven't ever felt what it's like on a "soft" or fertile day, or maybe I'm not feeling the right spot, but it always feel practically the same to me!!!

2) Has anyone ever used a saliva-based ovulation predictor test kit? I was buying the regular "pee-stick" kind yesterday, and I saw this one (forget what brand) that was apparently reusable forever and it measures your saliva. I asked the pharmacist about it, but she was not familiar with it. The reason it intrigued me was because it was not much more expensive than the "one-month" pee stick I got, but it's good for many uses. Seems to good to be true?!?!?

thanks in advance for any help!

Feeling your cervix is something that just comes with practice. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to the position or softness, just mainly the opening. My cervix clearly closes after I ovulate and is very open during ovulation. After I ovulate, I also notice it is particularly firm.

About the saliva tester, it is not as accurate as an OPK. Some women, not all, experience a ferning pattern in their saliva around the time of ovulation. It usually breaks up after ovulation. This can help contribute to interpreting your other fertility signs, but I wouldn't rely on it totally. I think just charting your temps and CM can help you more than it would, but you may already do that.
