Should I call the doctor?

Good Morning Everyone....so I'm on CD 36 today and I have never had this long of a cycle. I did another digital HPT this morning and of course..."not pregnant". So I was curious when I should call my doctor? I usually have cycles from 27 to 31 days so I'm getting anxious.

Advice please :)

Do you know when you ovulated? If you ovulated late, that could explain the late AF as normally AF doesn't show until 10-15 days after you O. I personally wouldn't call the doctor quite yet, I would wait another few days or a week, but that is me. It certainly couldn't hurt to call the doctor if that is what you want to do. More than likely you are just having an unusual cycle. I do hope your delayed AF means a BFP down the road though. Good luck to you :)

Yeah I wouldn't call the doctor quite yet either. When we start paying close attention to our cycles we never account for that every once and a while we have a totally out of whack cycle! Some very regular women will randomly experience a 60 day cycle, or a cycle with an 8 day LP. I wouldn't worry too much about it if it's just one irregular cycle.

Yes I would call beth because with DD I was late like 1 week and i kept getting BFN and then almost after 2 weeks late i got a BFP. You may need a blood test.....do you feel like AF is near?

I would wait another day to see if AF shows, THEN call a doctor if there's still no AF.

Did you confirm O? There's always a chance you O'd later than you expected so then af (or bfp) would be delayed accordingly too. It's also possible it's still too early to register a bfp if you had a late O & late implantation.

Another possibility is an annovulatory cycle, which tend to be on the longer side, but fx'd that's not the case!

Are you temping/using OPKs so you know when you actually ovulate? I had a late ovulation this time (CD 23 vs usual 14-18), and if I hadn't known that I ovulated late I would have been testing early and getting all anxious for nothing! (turns out it was a good month, but still, lol)

I wouldn't call just yet. I am usually about the same cycle length as you and had a cycle in April where I POAS several times and got BFN's and ended up with a longer cycle of 39 days. I've never had a cycle that long, but I wasn't charting and didn't know when I O'd. It's frustrating to be in limbo land but if AF doesn't show I would just keep testing and wait it out a while longer.

Alright...alright I'll wait to call the doc :) I've made up my mind that I'll get some more HPT on Saturday and then if AF is still a no show by next monday with no BFP I'm going to call my doc.

Lola thanks so much for sharing! That gives me so much hope that I could still be in the game! I don't feel any signs of AF at all...

No...but I'm hoping that my DH will bring home some HPTs and then I guess I'll test again tonight and tomorrow morning...
