Honestly, if it were me, I would call and make an appointment. Saying this because if you are anything like me, this will always be in the back of your mind until you talk with your obgyn. Hopefully you have a very understanding, kind obgyn and I'd just discuss what you just told all of us and tell her/him your concerns, how you feel about it, and ask what they would suggest. When it comes to your body, you know when something is 'not right' and don't not go to the doctor because you're afraid of "jumping the gun". Good luck and I hope you can get an appointment and the doctor can ease your mind. :smileyhappy:

I think you should go. If anything just for some peace of mind. A test cant hurt and Id rather jump the gun and feel silly than miss something that can be fixed easily. KUP and best of luck

Absolutely call! :) That's what they are there for and with your previous worries, it's not unheard of for you to be worried about future pregnancies. Only your nurse or Dr. will be able to tell you the answers you're looking for. Good Luck!

Oh Brew, I totally don't think you're jumping the gun. This is your body & if you have a hunch something is up, ask for the test. There's no point waiting it out in the event that it is low -especially since it's an easy fix. I've never been in your shoes in terms of losses but I think a little peace of mind might go a long way. Good luck hon! Sending lots of super sticky vibes your way :)

Thanks ladies :) After talking to DH last night I decided that I will call today (later though, I'm working now). I'll keep you posted!

Good luck :) I hope everything works out well. I wish I would've worked up the courage to go to the doctors a lot sooner than I did.

Please let us know how everything checks out!

Glad you've decided to call. I think its best to know than to wonder. They may even run the tests without having you come in for an actual appointment. Keep us posted!!

Well, the nurse just called me back, and I'm not too happy with her response. She said I should wait until I'm three days late to even test. Ha, okay. That's fine and dandy, but my reason for calling is that I'm getting pregnant, but I'm not staying pregnant, regardless of when I'm testing. The first time it happen I knew I was pregnant for a week, the second time (she's right), I probably wouldn't even have known I was pregnant if I hadn't tested on day 29. However, the only reason I did was because my boobs hurt so bad that I thought something was up (that doesn't normally happen before I get my period). Today is my doc's surgery day, so I won't hear from her until tomorrow. So, I'm not going to get too upset yet because ultimately it's up to my doc, and not the nurse, but it's super annoying.

Maybe she misunderstood what you were trying to ask. In any case, I hope you get an answer or call back from the Dr. tomorrow with something more along the lines of what you were wanting to find out about. Good Luck!

I'd be annoyed too but sounds like she just misunderstood your request. No worries though -I'm sure the dr will give it to you. If you do talk to the nurse again, tell her you need a requisition for P4 bloodwork. Also, make sure you go in at 7dpo to guarantee the most accurate results. Some dr's (esp gp's) will say to go in on cd21, assuming a cd14 O.
