Should I call the DR back?

Yesterday the nurse at my OB/GYN called me and said the results were back from DH's SA but that the DR would call me today b/c she had to go home early yesterday. She said today was clinic but they would try and call me when they could. I am going nuts here so do I just wait and see or would it be okay to call them? I don't want to seem pushy you know. I like this DR and the nurse and the nurse, Susan, really makes me feel special. I'm sure she treats all her patients like that but she really took some time out last month to talk with me a while on the phone about all my issues and questions. Anyway, what do you ladies think?

Call, Sheree~ sometimes they get the results and just leave them piled there for when they get time to call them all.....if you call they can just pull yours and tell you.

Definitely call. Just tell them that the Dr was supposed to call you today so you thought you would check in. That is not being pushy at all.

BTW - which Dr. in the group do you see? I am thinking about calling (I also would be going to that group in Austin) so I wanted to know who you saw and how you like them? If you are not comfortable sharing, that's fine.

Good luck!!

Hi Beth,

I still have not had to go to Austin to see the RE and may not have to. DH's SA came back mediocre. You can read the detailed results that I posted. I don't remember the heading but it is pretty obvious. It's under General Discussion or whatever. I just went to my OB/GYN here in Fredericksburg and they are the ones that wanted to do the SA before sending me to Austin for an HSG. I am guessing the results are basically this: DH's count a little low and half were excellent but the other half were slightly deformed (double heads, tails, etc) They like to see at least 65% good and he only has 50%. Not that that means we will never get PG, just probably the reason it has taken so long! They suggest he go see a urologist for a consultation. I am going to call my OB/GYN back and see if they still want to do the HSG on me or not. Thanks for asking though. I will keep you informed and let you know if I do go to AUstin. The RE that I will go to if I have to go is Dr. Lisa Hansard at the TX Fertility Clinic. HTH!

Thanks ladies for posting back. I did call yesterday afternoon and had to leave a message but they called me back first thing this morning. The results are posted here somewhere if you care to read it. It is pretty detailed. I think I titled it pretty obvious. Thanks again!
