I am supose to hike Half Dome in Yosemite, 17 miles round trip straight up hill then straight back down, this weekend. I wanted your opinions.

I am about 5 DPO and BD at the right times and have high temps. Do you think this hike, which will be extremely strenuous, is a bad idea, just in case I might actually be pregnant.

I am tired of not doing things, because I "might" be prego, then come to find out that I am not.

Let me know your opinions and if anyone else has had a similar delima.

Thank you!

TTC#!, C6, CD 29 - yes, only 5 DPO!

I would do it. If you are in good shape and this isn't totally beyond your physical capibilities then would say to go for it- it sounds like a great experience!! If it was jarring or dangerous then I would hesitate, but I don't think hiking is going to make or break any impantation you may have.

GL and I hope you have fun of that's what you decide to do!

Thanks for you opinion. I am in good shape and hike often, but this will be a more strenuous and longer hike than I am used to. Thanks again for responding.

I'd probably go for it. Chances are the little egg and swimmers are still kind of floating around and haven't even implanted yet...although I hope they do!!! Just take LOTS of water, don't get too over heated, and try not to totally over due it. Pg women really are a lot more 'durable' (for lack of a better word!) than many people believe. I say go and have fun...once you're definitely pg or further along it will be a LONG time before you can do this type of thing!

Let us know how it goes :)
