Question for everyone.

My husband and I are only in our second month of trying to conceive (second month off the pill). My first cycle was 38 days. This cycle was 37- sorta! From day 32 to day 36 I spotted- very lightly (like just once a day). On day 37- I woke up with the worst cramps EVER (and was very disappointed b/c I was sure I must not be pregnant). However, AF ended up being very light and by today (day 38)- it's gone!!! I've never had AF only visit for about 24 hours. Friday, day 34, I tested and it was ----. I've had slight nausea for the past week- only to be aleviated by very large belches (sorry...). My breasts aren't sore though. I had some unusually strong concentrated cramps earlier in my cylce- around day 20 or so. Could my spotting be implantation??? Also, it seems to my hubby and I that I've developed more montgomery tubernicles- or however that's spelled. It could just be our imagination. Anyway, what do ya'll think??? One last thing- I'm normally super-psychotically ILL around that time- but I've been perfectly normal- could that be a sign???? That's NEVER happend before. Anyway, I can't decide if this stuff is from coming off the pill or if i could be pregnant!!! Any of your advice and opinions are very welcome. I'm considering re-testing on Thurs or Fri (today's Tues). What do ya'll think???

Thanks, Erin

If the blood from AF was bright red I would say that was a period but you may wait and test in 2 to three days if you are still having pg symptoms.

Going off the pill can do strange things to your body as it tries to regulate itself. You don't have much of a lining built up when you are on the pill, so this could be one reason you bled so lightly. On the other hand, your hormones take over and you don't know when ovulation is going to happen, so you could get pregnant before you get a "real" period. I would test in a few days to see if you can't pinpoint what may be going on. Do you temp at all? That may give you some insight too. Good luck!

Thanks for your help. AF started back this morning, so I'm thinking its just irregularity from coming off the pill. I don't temp at all b/c we just started TTC, but I may start within the next few months. I've heard it can be very helpful. I think I'll test at the end of the week anyway- just for my own peace of mind.

Thanks again, Erin
