Should I test???

I'm 26 w/2 kids ages 5 and 2. I had a miscarriage at 8 wks in March and then some complications that ended up dragging the miscarriage and bleeding out until mid-June. At that point, I wanted off of the hormonal roller coaster and tried going on the pill to even things out for awhile. But the Pill made me sick to my stomach, so after 2 wks on it, I quit taking it. So then I had an AF a couple of days after I took the last pill. That was June 29, and I have not had an AF since. We have been using condoms w/spermicide and I took an hpt about 2 wks ago, even though I had no pg symptoms, I just wondered what was taking AF so long. Well now it's been 63 days since AF and I have had sore BB's for the past SIX days. I am starting to wonder if maybe I am pg. I don't recall ever having sore BB's for this long w/AF and I have no signs of AF anywhere. On the first day or two of the sore BB's, I had some dull cramping and thought AF would be here, but then the cramps have stopped and the sore BB's remain. I have done some research and found several women at other boards who became pg even though their dh used a condom w/spermicide, so I am wondering now if I am. I hate to test b/c it's such a letdown when I am not pg, even though at the moment we are not ttc. But my BB's are sore, even first thing in the morning after me not poking at them all day to see if they still hurt! LOL! They say it's a 2% chance you can get pg w/a condom. Someone is that 2% is the way I see it. And you know, when I lost my baby in March, after we saw the heartbeat the doc has said once there's a heartbeat the odds of losing the baby are "only" 2%, and it turned out we lost our angel, so I believe in that 2%.
What would you do? Would you test? In the past i have had a few long cycles and I am often very irregular, which makes for me wasting so much money on hpts b/c I just never know what is going on! But this is the first time my bb's have been so sore unless i was pg.
Thanks,
Katy

Your remark about believing in being the "2%" struck a chord with me. I have a 2½ year old that has Down Syndrome. I was only 29 when he was conceived and the chances of having a Downs baby at the age were astronomical......BUT it happened!! So, I can relate to and understand the whole "odds" thing. Never say it can't happen to you!! :o)
