Slippery Stuff?

DH went to Condom Sense and purchased Slipper Stuff since we can't get PreSeed.

I didn't see anywhere on the container if it is safe for sperm but have heard saliva isn't.

Does anyone know if Slippery Stuff is sperm friendly?

Dee~

I am not sure if Slippery Stuff is sperm safe of not, but I did find something called Replens (I think) at my local Wal Mart that says it is sperm friendly. You might check and see if you can find it at a retail store close to you. Hope that helps!

I heard that spit is not safe either, do you know how much truth there is to that?

No, I don't have any proof. I just heard through the rumor line that it is acidic and will kill off sperm. It makes sense to me. Saliva is part of the process that begins digestion, and my mom used to spit on a tissue to clean anything off my face!

Anyone know for sure about slippery stuff?

I guess I'll go look for Replens!

Done some research and Replens seems to be the answer! Here is an post on another board that I found that was good!

Hope this helps us out, the last time I checked it's 3 months back ordered for Pre~Seed and it's up to $300 to buy in ebay!!!!

This may be the way to save our pockets and minds!

Even so, if a girl gets oral sex before bd then it wouldnt really be as far in her as the sperm would after ejaculation, right? I mean, I could understand better if it was the guy recieving, does that make sense?

I had read a while back that "Slippery Stuff" was a good lube for TTC... I think it can be bought at Adam & Eve, also...not sure about that, though.

I would recommend FemGlide, instead of Replens. Even though Replens claims to be sperm- friendly, it does contain glycerin and mineral oil - both ingredients that I've been told to avoid in a lube. FemGlide and Slippery Stuff are almost identical, ingredient-wise. I have a box of Pre~Seed, that I am gonna use this cycle (think I got the last box from drugstore.com!), but if that doesn't work, I ordered FemGlide, to use next time, since Pre~Seed is nowhere to be found! OMG! $300 on eBay? That is highway robbery!!!

Ladies,

Thanks so much for all of your input. I appreciate your answers! Looks like I'm going to try FemGlide this cycle.

I just want SOMETHING to help this work out in a BFP!
