So many symptoms and yet still nothing but negative hpt

Unfortunately, your Dr. may have led you on slightly. I own probably 20-30 Fertility books and every single one of them say that in early pregnancy, the cervix is completely inaccurate when determaining pregnancy. For some women it's high or low, others it's soft or hard, open or close, blue or red, and the list goes on. In those coming days before an HPT or just after, your cervix won't tell you much. My question, however is, did you say you go your period or what you thought was your period? If you had heavy bleeding of any kind, I would consider that my cycle and start at CD1 on that first heavy day so you can predict ovulation as it comes up. Lots of baby dust and luck to you!

What kind of AF was it? An early AF that arrived early and lasted 2 days could have been implantation bleeding or early pg spotting. Was your AF heavy with bright red blood? Also, you said the doc ordered a pg test - what kind of test was it? A blood test or urine? The reason I ask is that your hcg levels could be too low to detect on a urine test but would definitely be quantified on a blood test. Usually an hcg level higher than 5 means pg (I think).
