Okay here is the deal. I had a D&C on 3/13 and I started temping the day before so really I am only on CD 16 not 17 like the chart says. Anyway. My DH was gone until yesterday morning so I couldn't BD before then. I took an OPK on 3/26 about 9pm at night and it was -. When DH came home 3/27 (yesterday) we BD about 9am. I took another OPK about 12noon yesterday and there it was + so I thought great we will have good timing since I thought I'd O today. Well just to see I took another OPK last night about 6pm and it was -. Then today I get a hudge temp increase. Here are my ?'s. Is there anyway to O before getting a +opk? I thought that it detected the hormone that caused O so if it were - the night before and then + 12 hours later and then - again only 6 hours after that did I O yesterday afternoon sometime? If so did we BD in time to catch the eggie? Should we BD again just in case? I usually have a slow rise pattern and have never seen a big temp jump like this. Normally if you look at my last chart before this one I have a big temp decrease like to 97.0 or so the day of O and then a jump a few degrees and then over the next like 2-3 days they go up more. I've never just had a temp go liket his. I actually took it early today at 6am and it was 97.8 and I adjusted it to 98.0, but even without adjusting it 97.8 is still alot higher than any other day after O temp I have had. Anyone have an thoughts. Did we BD in time? Oh geesh I can't believe I am obsessing already. Thanks for your advice. my chart is at www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1b884

I've always heard 'bd again after the rise just in case' but don't know if I agree with it. However, it can't hurt!
Okay, keep in mind that I haven't been doing the OPK thing very long (a couple of months), so this is mostly my speculation based on what I know of how they work.
Regardless, it does seem likely that you O'd yesterday afternoon. Of course, your temps the next few days will tell the story. Don't you hate the waiting?? *LOL*
