Good Morning!

Just getting us started.

No real news today...woke up still feeling blah... I'm 7dpo today, and my temp went down some. I'm probably PMSing...Just what I DON'T want!

The good news for anyone who caught my "pity party" post last night and knows about Mattie's infection... he is feeling better this morning. Yesterday was really pretty awful for him...he was so drugged we had to carry him up and down the stairs...and he is not whining and doing those high-pitched barks of pain. Boy...if a sick puppy gets to me this much, imagine how it will be when it is our baby!

I'm really hoping I get into a better mood today...Sorry I'm not too inspiring or uplifting...

Talk to you guys soon,

Anne

I'm glad Mattie's doing better, Anne. It's so hard to watch a pet be in pain and not be able to help. Not much going on with me today. I started getting a major cold last night, so I'm not feeling that great. Plus I've had some really weird visual disturbances caused by clomid, which I've never had before. So, I'm not to happy this morning either. I hope someone else has some good news to share with us to lighten the mood!

Hey Jen,

I just left you a message under your other post...

Yep....hopefully some of the others are having a better day than us. I told DH that I just want to go back to bed and sleep until tomorrow (or next week)...He does not really get it. He rarely feels "down"...and he never feels down for no good reason, like I am right now! Evil Clomid...But worth it if it can get us that BFP...that is what I keep telling myself...

I had another possible Clomid side effect last night...I woke up at 2 a.m. completely soaking wet with sweats! I mean, the hair behind my neck was WET! The only time I've had anything like that happen has been when I'm sick with the flu or something. But I'm not sick... Has that happened to you? I wonder if it was a "hot flash" like I hear people sometimes have on Clomid? I felt warm, but not really all that hot...Went back to sleep, and woke up freezing cold! Very strange...

Good morning Jen and Anne! Hope things are going well for you guys today! I know you already told me this, but just humor me anyways.....where are ya'll from again?

Anne, I didn't catch your post about your poor doggie! So sorry to hear he's not feeling well. I have a 3 lb Pomeranian that I just love to death, so I know all to well how terrible it is when they get sick. Even with three kids, he still tops my list of worries. :o)

Well, on to CD9! I'm armed with a new box of OPK's AND it came with a free preg test in it so I have NO EXCUSE to have to go to the store to buy any. I have ONE and that's all I'm going to use this month. That also means that with only one, I can't waste it by using it early. I've made a solemn promise to myself to test only on 15DPO! I'm not going to torture myself like I did last month!

Well, I'm off for my run.....the weather has FINALLY seemed to cool down here in Ca. It'll be nice coming home without heat exhaustion.

Take care gals,

Heather

Hey Heather...

Send some of that cool weather over this way! I'm in Fort Worth, Texas...and it has been hot! Actually, I just looked, and the temp is a little lower than usual right now...but man does it get steamy around here in the summer! Thankfully, this will be my last summer to fry in Texas...DH and I are moving to Seattle in January.

My dog, Mattie, is a Lhasa Apso...a little one, but not as tiny as your pup! We just attemped a few minutes ago to rub the antibiotic ointment along his nose (he has an infection from where the groomer nicked him a couple of weeks ago)...and we attempted to get the other ointment in his eye (he has an eye infection). Notice I say attempted... He is NOT cooperative. At least DH got his oral antibiotic down him this morning... I think he was so traumatized yesterday with them fooling around with his sore spots, that he is especially defensive today. He looks pretty sad, too...they literally shaved the side of his face and all around that one eye...so he is pretty lopsided.

GL on your plan to only test once! I have quit promising myself that...I just go nuts! Today I attempted to use an OPK for an extra early pregnancy test (like they've been talking about on the board) and got NO test line at all. Hope that does not mean I'll definitely get a BFN...maybe it was too early even for an OPK...7dpo...

Hey Sisters,

Lisa O here checking in after a great weekend. I feel somewhat revitalized. Our best friends came over Sat. night to watch the race and dinner, and the girls had a "spa" session so to speak, we did each others feet in a footbath with all kinds of exfoliants, lotions, etc. and then the parrafin wax bath. It was glorious and so relaxing ( almost better than sex ) but then, after Sunday and Monday, I may have to even question that theory. DH and I had a wonderful BD Fest weekend Sun. and Mon. I think he actually put me into another dimension, ( did not care about finding the pillow to prop, we set out for more. ) I know , sorry, way TMI, but for those of you that have known me for a while and know my story and the struggles DH & I have faced with some performance issues, this WAS the ultimate. He also received a call from an employer yesterday and we are hoping and praying this position comes through. So , things are starting to look up for us and we were able to put all of our stresses aside for a couple of hours and just literally enjoy each other. It was great, and we've made a "date" for tonight too. DH seems very determined this cycle.

And here's something else for those of you with CM problems or concerns-- ( warning-- TMI ) but I have been a CM making machine during Sun. and Mon. I've been drinking the V8 Splash and taking the Robi, and the CM won't stop, and it's the "good stuff" too. It was continuous, and I'm still having it. I think that is kinda what helped so far with the BD Fest. So, sisters, if you've had your doubts about using those 2 products, I say use them, it works. You won't need any lube or have any problems. ( sorry if this was TMI for yall) .

Well, hope everyone is doing good. I missed posts from Sun. and Mon., I'll have to go back and catch up on everybody. Anne, hope your doggie's infection gets better real soon.

Here's my chart if anyone wants to take a peak. Nothing much to see just yet, still waiting on "O", and hoping we catch that little eggie. GL to everyone!!!!
