Good Morning Sisters!
I'll be back later to finish this post... but just wanted to get the thread going!
Anne
Okay...I'm back...had more time than I thought! Well...no O yet for me...my temps are going down! This is pretty different from my other charts. Maybe Clomid is changing the pattern some. I just hope I O!
Lisa, Thanks for the devotional idea...and I do think it is a good idea to find a way to shorten it, as that is a LOT of work for you. But it is a great idea, and I'm going to enjoy reading it. It did give me the idea to start doing something similar with DH. We have the book "A Purpose Driven Life", which is a 40-day devotional book designed to help you discover how to be open to God's plan for your life, to develop a closer walk with God. It is recommended that it be read with someone else and discussed along the way, so DH and decided last night we would begin that book today. We will each read a chapter individually sometime during the day (the chapters are only 2-3 pages long), and then at night when we go to bed (our favorite time to talk), we will discuss it and how it applies to our life. I'm SO excited. I think this will be great for us both... See, God is already working with this group, as it was Lisa's devotional that nudged DH and I along to make this commitment!
For fun today...why don't we all share what we imagine our to-be-conceived child will look like, and what names we are thinking of.
I am pretty sure our poor child will have curly red hair! DH is a redhead, and I have dark auburn hair...and we both have curly/wavy hair. I straighten mine, but is it dries on its own, it is a MOP of ringlets! Our poor child does not have much of a chance for the straight, silky hair I've always wanted! LOL! And our child will probably have blue eyes and very fair skin, as that is what both DH and I have. Names: I like Adam Gregory for a boy...(DH is Greg) I'm pretty set on that. For a girl, I just cannot decide! I love Chloe and Sophie...but DH does not. We are talking about Emily Grace, Rachel Elizabeth, Katherine Anne (Katie), Julianne Marie, or Hallie Marie....and everyday, my mind changes about which I like the best.
Well...I'm off to the job that I hate. Only 4 weeks and 1 day left to do it though! I'm literally counting the days!
Have a good day!
Anne

Anyways, other then that, I really don't have any symptoms other then a few twinges here and there. I was feeling kinda AF crampy yesterday, but that has since gone away. Unfortunately, I don't think this was my month ladies....I'm not giving up hope though. :o)

Don't give up hope yet...It might just be your month! I'm afraid I can't be too much help regarding the OPKs...I have trouble with those...I can tell you that in the Chart Gallery at FF, I've seen lots of PG charts showing a positive OPK on the day of ovulation...not 1 or 2 days before O like you would think...and I'm pretty sure I've seen some showing a positive just after O...
I think none of this is an exact science. My doc said she really views the charting as a way to pinpoint "about" where O happens...when she looked at my charts, she would circle a range of 3 to 4 days and say O happened somewhere in there and would mainly pay attention to if there was an obvious thermal shift. Of course, that doesn't help those of us who "need to know" EXACTLY how many DPO we are! LOL!
Hang in there! You'll get that BFP soon!
Anne - who wishes O would hurry up and come already! Temps going DOWN instead of UP!

Anne - Proud Mommy to Rachel Elizabeth!
Well, for a girl we have picked the name Evelyn Rose (we'll call her Eve). Evelyn in DH's great grandmother and Rose is my great grandmother. For a boy we haven't really decided yet. The first name will be Benjamin, but middle name is undecided-probably Michael. Our kids will be tall and thin, have brown hair, and probably brown eyes-I have green, but DH has brown and brown eyes are dominant. Not too much going on with me today. I'm on CD62, but am on day 3 of 5 days of provera to start my AF. Sounds like many of you are pretty close in cycles-wish I was with you, but I'm all screwed up! Oh well. Talk to you all later!
Jen
Anyway, I enjoyed reading all of your updates & stories. Oli/Lisa/Heather- it sounds like I'm in the same boat as you guys. I THINK I'm about 4 dpo, and have been feeling all kinds of weird symptoms that I think are impending AF, but so far I really can't tell what exactly is going on. Bad news is that my temp isn't budging so far, so maybe I didn't O at all :-(....still screwed up from those darn BCP's!!!
Jen- Hang in there, sister. It must be hard...CD 62 and still waiting. But be strong and know that we are all here for you, wishing you all of the (((HUGS)))) and support we have in our hearts!
For me & DH, I'm sure that our child will be fair-skinned and blonde with blue or green eyes. DH has a neice that looks EXACTLY like him, so I picture that's what our DD would look like. We haven't given too much serious thought to names yet....don't want to jump the gun...but I really like Gabriel for a boy (isn't that ironic...that was the name of the angel in the story). For a girl, I'm not sure yet. Maybe Dana or Corrinne. DH like Kiersten, but I'm not a big fan.
Have a wonderful evening ladies. Can't wait to hear from you tomorrow.

I am currently 9 dpo. I haven't been consistent with charting so far, because it's been a crazy month, but that is the estimate FF has based on my cm. It sounds right to me.
As far what our child would look like, hmmm. Medium skin tone, blonde hair when young, turning darker as they grow older (this happened to both dh and I), and green eyes.

(((((HUGS))))) Welcome! We would love to have you. Check in each day & give us your updates. Lots of sharing & support to be had here!

I have no clue what our second child will look. I was very surprise when Allisa was born because she looks like all of us. We call her chameleon baby. She has my complexion (light skinned like Janet Jackson) and my husband's cheeks that little old ladies want to pinch. She's beautiful -- of course I would say that.
Everyone stay safe and continue to count your blessings.
Fondly,
Lisa
