Good Morning Sister,

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!! Today, we're going to talk about how to tell your mate that you love them. It is always understood, but sometimes not actually said enough. And sometimes, our actions just don't show it like they should.

Title: I Need You

Source: 15 MInute Devotions for Couples

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4

" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

I Need You

I need you in my times of strength and in my weakness;

I need you when you hurt as much as when I hurt.

There is no longer the choice as to what we will share:

We will either share all of life or be fractured persons.

I didn't marry you out of need or to be needed.

We were not driven by instincts or emptiness;

We made a choice to love.

But I think something supernatural happens at the point of marriage commitment ( or maybe it's actually natural.)

A husband comes into existence; a wife is born.

He is a whole man before and after, but at a point in time he becomes a man who is also a husband;

That is- a man who needs his wife.

She is a whole woman before and after.

But from now on she needs him.

She is herself but now also part of a new unit.

Maybe this is what is meant in saying,"What God hath joined together."

Could it be He really does something special at "I do"?

Your despair is mine even if you don't tell me about it.

But when you do tell, the sharing is easier for me;

And you also can then share from my strength in that weakness.

Prayer:

Father God, I want my mate to know that I love them . Teach me to be more open about my feelings. Help me be a student of my mate so that I know what actions and words make them feel loved. Amen.

Do something special for your mate this week that lets them know how very much you love and need them. Sometimes I think we get so wrapped up in this TTC journey, that we forget the very simple pleasures in life. Rekindle that magic spark again and wonderful things can happen.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!

Hey Sisters!

Sorry I've been MIA today...I've been spending the day with DH. We went for a long drive, had a nice lunch out, then came home and went for a long walk! Been a wonderful day. I just have not taken the time to sit and catch up with things!

AF is still here...and has been rather annoying today. Usually by day 3, things are slowing down some...but she is being bad. But I'm okay otherwise. I'm starting my Clomid today...100 mg this time. Hope the side effects won't be too bad.

Well...I'll check back in tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night!

Anne,

It sounds like you had a nice day. How are you feeling from the clomid? I hope AF is nicer to you today.

Sharyn

Sorry yes this is a day late. I only get a few hours while baby naps.

Hi Sharyn,

I'm feeling fine on the Clomid. One good effect is that it seems to help me sleep REALLY well! I'm usually a very restless sleeper, but I've noticed on the nights I take Clomid, I get GOOD sleep!

Thanks for asking! Hope you have a great day.
