Soy Iso is supposed to work like clomid. So, yes it could very well get you to O, and maybe sooner than without....but there is also that chance that it might delay your O. I tried soy iso. 1 time....about 2 cycles ago. That cycle lasted 69 looooong days and I never O'd, had to get my Dr to give provera to get Af to show up and thats also when she started me on Clomid.
I may have just not taken enoough...and that cycle was meant to be annovulatory, but I have always had a feeling it was the soy's fault. After that cycle I found out that in order for it to work like Clomid you have to take 160mg soy iso. for 5 days, on the same cycle days that you would take clomid. (3-7, 4-8, 5-9) (160mg soy iso. is equal to 50mg clomid) So don't let my story scare you away from soy, because there are alot of ladies that it HAS worked for!! :)
Hi, Just thought I'd share my experience with soy. I've been over on the TTCYFC board. This was my 4th cycle TTC and I took 200 mg soy isoflavones from GNC on CD 5-9. My temps seemed a little bit whacky this cycle, and I'm glad I was using OPKs too because I wasn't sure of my O date. I did get a BFP this cycle, my first cycle using soy. I had betas done on CD 12 or 13 (not completely positive of my O date) and the level was 155, I go in tomorrow for a repeat. Obviously the choice is yours, just thought I'd share. Good luck

HELLO,
Hi,
Just thought I'd share my experience with soy.
Good luck
Gabby
Lindsay,
I took Soy Isoflavones in January.
Hugs, Mika & Liam

Thanks ladies!
