Soy isoflavones--early O?

Hi,

I started 160 mg of soy isoflavones this month on days 3-7. Normally I O about day 14-15.
Today I did an OPK at CD 9 and it wasn't positive, but close. When I did another OPK this afternoon the line was more faint. Now I don't know if I had my LH surge yesterday (since I didn't test) or when I will O.
I was wondering if other people on soy had experiences of it moving your O date by as much as a week? Any advice would be appreciated.

the first time I used soy it moved my O date from cd 24 to cd 14 and then last month at 160mg I O'd on cd16 but it wasn't a strong O so I am doing 200 mg this time. hth

Hi there I had a similar question... I was not taking the same thing you were but a soy protein shake and about 4 days later I o'd when I thought I wouldn't this month. Once AF arrives I will start taking it again. Do you think it was wise for me to staop taking the shake. I jsut have heard that soy during your LP is not recommended. so confusing! *sigh*

I only take the soy in the beginning of my cycle for 5 days and that's all. I don't believe that you are supposed to consume high levels of soy if pregnant and there is plenty of soy in the other things that we eat so I try not to add to that.
