I once (recently) had random spotting while I was waiting to O. I know I hadn't O'ed yet, and I was approaching the middle of my cycle. It only happened to me that once time, lasted about a day, and I have no idea why it happened. I'm not sure if it could be related to the HSG, but I guess if it keeps up you can ask the doc.

amanda..sorry i know this is off topic..but was wondering did u have ur DH s/a done via ur fert. doc or ur OB..cause i was going to see if my OB office would refer me to a hospital to have him tested...if you used ur OB can u tell me how you went about asking for it...i dont want to sound dumb when i call today:) thank you...
no problem, I went in to my OB to discuss our ttc troubles at my annual exam and that's when they started the b/w & u/s, then when that came back normal sent me to the hsg & s/a - the OB was the "prescriber" of the analysis but it was preformed at our hospital since they are the only lab able to do it in our area...
I would call your OB and say you've been trying for x months etc can you come in for a consultation, I seriously doubt they would send you for b/w, s/a without coming in first (unless you went like 6 months ago and they said at this point to call in).
actually i just went in for a check up 2 weeks ago..he knows abotu us trying...gave me a number to a fert. specialist...i was just seeing if maybe instead of goign right to the fert. spec. i could possible go through the OB first...I already had b/w doen at the OB office...thank you for all ur help:)
