I know I'm going to forget some of you guys cuz I read some posts yesterday then dh distracted me before I could respond to them!
Holly-love the names! All of them! I think my favorite is Chloe or Olivia.
Julia- I have to be honest, Helen has some bad name association for me. I do really like Elly though (Joey too) for girls! I think cameron is my favorite boys name. Good "strategery"!
Amy-haven't had a chance to look at your chart-did you O yet?
Jodie-do ya think O is coming soon?
I had what I think was some ewcm (though could have been leftovers from bding) & high-ish though still firm cervix, so think its probably a couple days away.
OMG about the octuplets!!! I cannot even imagine! With that many, I'd guess they did injectibles w/iui. I know its hard to even think about selective reduction & that's one of my real reluctances about the injectible meds, but I think if I did have that many, its something I'd feel compelled to consider. Don't know if I could do it or not though.
Hi Jodie - that is a terrible no good very bad day! Sorry about your truck - that totally stinks! Did your mom mean your brother is having marital problems or problems with the pregnancy? I hope neither! My DH was a total butt this weekend so I can relate 100% to that - he has snapped out of it and apologised and should be very very good for awhile. Thats his usual pattern. It's weird for him to get all twitchy though when his mom is in town - it was bad timing for sure! Its a shame since I am always so perfect and everything. ha ha! Anyway - YAY for a new computer and YAY for O! :) Julia
Julia - It was marital problems. I really think that it all stems from what they have on their plate. They got married in May, and she has two kids of her own and he has one of his own in addition to the new one coming. So I think they're just trying to figure out how to manage a mixed family (discipline, scheduling, etc) as well as such a suddenly large family. They both love each other very much, though, so I think they'll figure it out okay. Just stressful.
Holly - YES I hope O comes soon for me! I'm expecting it to! It's CD 20, and I O'd on CD 23 last cycle. My OPK a few days ago was definitely darker, but still not positive. Guess we'll see...
Sorry to hear your dh isn't cooperating on the SA. Maybe if you could find out the procedures for the lab & see if they would let you drop off the sample & if he could do it at home, he'd feel more comfortable with it. It seems like every lab is different. Some require the men to bring in the specimen, but many don't. Amother thing to think about if he refuses (before we all get mad at him) is whether it would make a difference in your ttc efforts. You seem reluctant to go to fertility meds/iui. If he had low count/motility/morphology issues, would that change? If you would still continue as you have been, maybe its not worth getting too upset about. There's definitely something to be said just for knowing what you're dealing with & starting supps or vits to improve sperm if that's a problem. I know its hard when dh's don' just do what we want!
Rish - Now that I'm not just rambling and actually thing about it, I agree with Holly. Even if he decides he doesn't want to do the SA, you could still see if he'd at least take some vitamins just in case there is a prob there.
