I am so bored! I had to come to LA for a hearing the am, and the judge is taking forever. We're scheduled to be one of the last to go. Been waiting about an hour already & probably have at least another 30 min. It kinda sucks cuz there's not really anything you can do. Of course then I remembered my phone & checking in w/you guys!

Holly-you're welcome to hang out anytime!

Jenny-when do you have an appt? Does your doc give early u/s at 7/8 weeks?

My co-workers and I were laughing that the article would even say "she would not confirm if she used fertility drugs" ha - nothing says injectibles like EIGHT kids. Anyway - I have the same thoughts about selective elimination - it would just be too horrible to go through and to live with. I don't think I could do it. With that said - I think I would be extra careful not to put myself in that situation. It's dangerous for everyone involved. This lady in CA is very lucky that all those babies are doing well. Anyway - my MIL and I were talking last night - she is very Catholic - about choice and abortion and I told her I am pro-choice but anti-abortion and she was very confused. But I really do think that I can't put my views on everyone and everybody has to make their own decidions but I could never have an abortion and I hate to hear about it happening. Hmm, I am very philosophical today. :)

You guys have a really good point. At this point I suppose the SA doesn't matter too much, unless it shows he has absolutely so sperm or something weird like that. My dr was saying she had a patient where the guy's parts weren't hooked up somehow so the sperm were created but couldn't actually get out. Isn't that crazy?

DH is willing to take vitamins if I remind him, so maybe I'll just put him on a vitamin regimen anyway. It wouldn't hurt.

I guess I'm more frustrated about him backing out of his prior commitment than anything else.

Hey girls!!!

I'm in FL on a lunch break right now. Just skimmed through the 100+ messages. I don't have time to do personals, but just wanted to say "Hi".

Unfortunately for me, I am going to o very soon. My body is totally gearing up. I bet I'll get a peak reading tomorrow. Grr.... I actually started temping too, just to see when it happens...

I actually have the same thought as you. I am totally pro-choice, but I also know that is a choice I wouldn't make (unless, like I said 8 babies, I'd feel compelled to think about it)!

Em-Hi! I hope your o can either hurry & come (if you were able to bd right before you left) or hold off a few more days! Hope you're thawing out in the warm florida sun!

Rish- I would also be VERY upset w/dh for changing his mind! That would bother me even more than if he'd just always refused.

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is having a good day! I got another positive OPK this AM so I am assuming the temp shift will happen tomorrow. I am a little surprised that my temp didn't dip today as usual, though! I guess we'll see!

Jodie- I am so sorry I missed you! I so bad at remembering- I need to stop trying to list out! I sure hope O is soon for you so you can feel good about that! I am so sorry things have been rough lately!

Em- That sucks about Oing! Your body is full of surprises for you! I hope you're having a good time in Florida!

Holly- When is your next follie check? I am so excited for your IUI! I want to hear all about it!

Rish- I agree with Holly- you don't need it anyway. I would make me slightly upset as well if DH backed out on his commitment, too though. I would just let him knwo how you feel about it.

Steph- The first month my impl dip disappeared, I got a BFP, so I hope the same is true for you!

Liz- Where are you today?

Marcie- I HATE this cold!!! WTh is up with your OPK's and chart??? I hope you see that nice temp rise tomorrow!

Hi to everyone else if I forgot you, it's not on purpose! Trying to get this all out before my boss walks into my office! ha-ha!

Rish - I did know one guy that had no sperm whatsoever. I think that is pretty rare though - and I have to say that he looked pretty unhealthy as a male speciman. They were able to adopt so it all worked out. I think your DH should make the effort - I think it's correct to say that it's not too hard. Especially if he can do it from home. That said - we all know how they can be. So, if he can't commit this month - maybe get a commitment from him that if you have 2 more cycles with no luck he will do it. I also like the "I will barely talk to you until you do what I want" strategy........... if it comes to that.

Can I just tell you guys? I was just in the break room with my GFs having lunch and this co-worker of ours came in and was getting some water and ice from the water machine thingy and then all of a sudden he leans over and pukes his guts out in the kitchen sink. Then he just walked away. He left his puke in the sink. I had to leave the room I was gagging and thought I would lose my lunch. My co-worker was strong enough to walk over and rinse it out - but - wtf? SO GROSS! I am sitting at my desk gagging and burping and thinking about puking.
