Well, I made it home ok - of course my typical 30 minute commute took 1 hour 30 minutes!!! Oh well, I got major kudos from DH, as Guinness and I shoveled the driveway. Well, I shoveled, Guinness snowplowed with his nose. Damn dogs... gotta love em!
And as for Steph vs Stephanie - I've never really cared! It used to bother me back in school, but since college, it's nearly a 50/50 split on what people call me! No biggie :)
No IPS to report, but my chart is looking VERY different. Hmm... hopefully no IPS is good RPS! I can't remember if any of the Sticky grads had NO symptoms. My best friend keeps reminding me that she didn't 'feel pregnant' until she was several weeks past when her period was due. I have this magical thinking that I'll just know! I'm crazy :)
Good evening, ladies! I think the twinges I am feeling in my tummy are O pains, but at this point who knows! Good news though, my CBEFM was in the mailbox when I got home. So if this cycle turns out to be a bust, hopefully next will be better.
Nat: Loving the picture snow. Your body is probably confused! He he! In a swimsuit 1 days and two days later snow!
Amy: Parent conferences... YUCK! God bless you teachers! That is a very thankless job... I promised myself once I had kids and they were in school I would spoil their teachers. (both my parents are teachers)
Julia: Do you work in the TWC building in Lone Tree? Are you on the cable side? My DH works for Comcast and does a lot of stuff w/ TWC.
I went to lunch today with a friend I haven't seen in 3 years. She just happened to be in Denver (lives in Seattle) for the weekend and she was flying out today so I met her at the airport for lunch. Man I miss her, so great to catch up with old friends!
Natalie - Man, that is some ice!! It's been snowing all day here, but it's been a pretty moderate pace. It's also the nice, fluffy kind of snow. If you don't call in, then please do be careful! Maybe you could make a few visits to your prospective offices just to see how well you feel they "fit." I think it was Holly or Steph (or both) that did that with good results...
Stephanie - Glad you got home in one piece and DH loves you :) Unfortunately I got nothing done today except troubleshoot how to open all of my school files on a Mac rather than a PC (what I used to have). Talk about frustration station.
Amy - Sorry you're stuck at work late tonight! But glad you're going to be able to reward yourself with a BD once you get home. :) I was just giving you a hard time with my last post, by the way. :) This board goes waaaaayyyy too fast for anyone to be expected to remember everything! lol!
Marcie - That's cool that you got to catch up with a good old friend. Those are the best. :)
Another - OPK today, but more creamy/EWCM. I'm still a few days out. And I did pull myself out of the funk. I realized today that I have too many things to be thankful for to be feeling sorry for myself over the things I was. I know it will all work out for ALL of us!!
Holly- That cracks me up about your kindergarten report! LOL! I got a bad grade for not being able to ie my shoes in kindergarten but was the best skipper in the class! Of course, nowadays, we actually teach kids how to read in kindergarten. The whole system has been moved down a grade - kinder is now like first, so the whole conference is usualy about reading progress, which I am happy to say, all but two of my kiddos are rieading right where they're supposed to be!
I have two more nights of conferences efore I am done!
That sure is a lot of HCG!
Steph- I am so glad you made it home safe! Bryanna had hardly any IPS her BFP cycle!!!!
Natalie & Jodie- make sure you stay safe and don't go out if you don't have to!
Marcie- I hope you see a temp rise tomorrow! You're keeping up with your BDing, right? was I supposed to email you back something? Sorry I get a little braindead around conferences! How awesome abot your parents- were they elementary or seocndary? I agree with you about the spoiling of teachers- LOL. I really love my job and that is worth the low pay. Plus, I have a great group of kids this year, even if there are 25 of them! Thanks, though. :)
Everyone else, have a great night- off to put a 4 year old to bed finally and then BD!!!!
It's snowed like 10 inches here, and we're supposed to get another 2-4 by noon today. Luckily, I had my team bust our hump yesterday at work, assuming this might happen. I'm having a snow day, or at least a few snow hours until the roads get cleared! DH and I are having fun with Guinness today :)
Marcie - no POAS this month for me, until AF is late. And my temp went low again today, but WAY too early for AF. What is up with that? Off to FF to stalk charts :)
