Steph-yay for snow day! Its always so fun to play with the dog in the snow-enjoy your time w/guinness & your dh! Like others have said, no symptoms can be a good sign!
Marcie-i hope your O timing works out for you!
Liz-that's funny! I've had some weird dreams lately too. Always bizarre when people from hs show up (15 yrs later)! Hope the bd fest treats you right. If you, or your dh aren't up for ed, eod is fine too. It's actually what many REs recommend.
rish-will you start the bdfest soon?
Lua-how did the appt go?? Better have been good news cuz I'm not believing you've got anything but the stickiest bean in there!
Hi to everyone!!
Afm-just got back from my appt. I have up to 3 follies in the running now. 1 that is 18mm, and 2 that are 14mm. He said that if I Od on my own, I'd likely only O the big one, but with hcg, may get all 3 to pop. That's our hope at least. Plus, this way the plan will be for the iui on friday at 10am. I have to give MYSELF the hcg shot tonight at 8!! Yikes! I do not do well w/needles & have never given myself a shot (except for once w/epipen, but when the alternative could be death there's not much thought involved.) I'm a little nervous about that. Dh may have to do it for me.
We've been directed to bd tonight, not tomorrow, then friday at 8 dh has to drop off his sample, then I go in at 10 to get the iui done. We're to bd friday night too.
Of course nothing goes smoothly, & it wasn't til I was about to leave the dr realizes dh hasn't had an infectious disease panel run on his blood. CA law requires it be done before iui. I think the main reason is for hiv. The test usually takes a week at the local lab. The dr has a surgery in santa monica, so could drop off the blood at another lab that does it within 24hrs, but only if dh can get there w/in the next 30min. Of course dh has an interview at that exac time!!! It looked like everything was going to fall apart. The dr then said they could have a staff member drive to the other lab (about an hour each way) to drop off the blood, so long as dh got in there in the next hour or so. They are having her make a special trip just to drop off his blood sample to get the test done!! I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure they'd just say we'd have to do the iui next month!! I love this office! Plus, when the nurse was showing me how to do the hcg shot, she said something about showing me something in case I hd to do it next month, then she says "of course, hopefully this is the last time we have to do this for you, cuz you'll be pregnant after this cycle!". It was so sweet!
Ok, so minor vent- I just got a call from doogie's office & dh hasn't been in there to get his blood drawn yet!!! He was supposed to be here like an hour ago so they could have time to take it to the other lab!!! He has to get there in like the next 5 min, or they won't have time!!! He better hurry up!
Holly, Thats so awesome that their office is willing to do that for you! Im glad it will all work out. It sounds like these people are really truly on your side and want to get you pregnant! Ill be crossing my fingers and toes that wonderful things happen for you soon!!! (((hugs))) and ***baby dust***
Marcie - Men and gadgets...have you seen the "ad" for the USB pregnancy test? It's not for real but it's fun to look at, you should show your DH.
Holly - Doogie's office rocks! Considerate, encouraging, and going the extra mile! GL with the shot.
Natalie - LOL at your dogs getting stuck in the backyard! Thank goodness your office took a snow day, I would have felt guilty too, despite the horrid weather.
When I see some creamy CM the BD-fest will start, but I'm not even seeing sticky yet. I'm definitely hoping for an early O, before my house guests show.
