Holly- that is AWESOME news about the IUI! Sorry there was only 1 egg, but who knows - all it takes is 1, right?!?! Glad to hear it was pain-free.
Well, my friend had her first baby this morning at 9am. I got a text from her around noon, and she is resting comfortably and very happy he's finally here. Name TBD. Still can't decide :) I am happy for her and her DH. They tried long and hard for this, with i believe 3 m/c in 6 months. So she is due, and it is her time!
AFM, no symptoms really - yesterday I had terribly heartburn, and almost this gassy, bubbly 'acid like' thing going on in my tummy. Intresting.... but i'm not looking into it. Only thing that's keeping my hope alive is that my chart is looking wacky, and i know wacky charts sometimes mean good things! Here's to hoping!
Rish-how did the singing event go? I bet you were great! Cuz when american idol went to salt lake they found lots of good singers! So, did I see you on that show? Lol
It's better to have one great egg (good size, good quality) than a TON of so-so eggs (take it from me!). I hope you caught it! I think you made a great choice to do the IUI since it saved you $$. I bet Doogie was super careful doing it too!
Looking forward to your BFP in 14 days...... Heck, let's be honest, it'll be more like nine days from now. LOL!
It went fine, thanks for asking. I'm definitely not American Idol material! I have a coworker who was going to try out, but she was really sick that day and had no voice. It's too bad b/c she's too old after this and that girl can really sing.
Happy mail today! I ordered some more Preseed and it came with two IC's and a little bag of baby dust! I also got my coupon for a free box of FRER's, so I am all set for this cycle!
Holly, are you going to watch the trigger leave your system with some IC's or actually wait for your beta?
I am definitely comin down with something- sore throat and a headache. I am not taking tylenol (I am allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen) b/c there has been some preliminary studes that showed a slight link between ectopics and women who used pain killers like that during their O time and 2ww. There are studies all over the place about those kind of things, so I am not sure I buy it, but I guess I won't take any risks, either.
So I am walking around king soopers doing my grocery shopping and over the musak and ad like things, an announcement comes over that says pregnant owmen find everything you need in the bread aisle- loaded with bla, blah, blah and I was like you have got to be kidding! I turned the aisle and there was a pregnant teenager walking with her mom. The whole thing made me feel so bitter! You just cannot get away from it!
Holly- Yay! For the successful IUI! It sounds like everythong was awesome and just perfect for a good conception! I cannot wait until you can really POAS!
Em- It definitely looks like an O spike, but you have had those before and it wasn't O, so definitely BD tonight! I thought those CBEFM's are supposed to be full proof!
Natalie- I am so glad you are feeling better. I hate puking! Now on to some more IPS... ;)
Rish- Congrats on the successful singing! You must have a really fun office to do stuff like that! Also yay for being totally prepared for this cycle!!!
Liz- I totally KWYM about the forced BDing. It is always like that for us! But if it gets the job done... ;)
Steph- I love your willpower! Your chart definitely looks different than your others!
Cindy- That is awesome about working out- I need to do that just to get the TTC pounds off me!!! If I ever get pregnant, it is going to be an uphill battle, that's for sure!
