Sorry about the BFN. It is still very early though. I'm really impressed that you kept temping for that long and caught your o date on day 40! I probably would have given up in frustration! I hope you caught the egg!
My DH gets all sensitive when we need to bd around o time. It's like he wants me to want him just because, not with the ulterior motive to get pg. Plus, I've been a bit harsh this month. I keep telling him it's his last chance to do this naturally, otherwise, it's IVF time :-)
That is AWESOME about your boys being asleep at the same time!!!!!!!
I cannot believe all the things you have to do for IVF- you do probably need the month for it, but I agree that it is crazy you cannot try anything the month before- that is so
Natalie- Sorry about the BFN, but it is really early!!! Your chart is looking really nice!
I agree about the obsession about temping- when blake gets near my thermometer I start screaming at him to get away! LOL (He has a nice habit of taking things to his room and they are never to be seen again, including my hairbrush, a pair of tweezerman tweezers and my favorite blush. hmmm.. toiletry obsession? ha-ha- DH would have a field day with that!)
Happy Super-bowl Sunday! I must say, I'm bummed my team isn't in it.... but, I love the day just for all the yummy food DH and I are making. Homemade chili, pimento cheese dip, green chile roll-ups and of course, red-velvet cupcakes! Yum :)
Holly - I think between your IUI and BD timing, you shoudl be good. Very sweet about DH.... mine does that stuff to me all the time too. It's nice feeling you're being looked after!
Em - Wow... way to go on your O timing! Poor DH, maybe you can tease him into another BD if you offer him a steak dinner. Seemed to work for Amy, right?? :) And wow... I knew IVF was serious business (contrary to that octuplet masquerade) but my gosh! You're right, you'll definitely need a month to compelte it all!
Natalie - sorry about the BFN. You are early though!
Liz - i agree, isn't it sad sometimes - to think early on in DH and I's relationship, we couldn't DTD enough. Now, when it really counts, it's like 'gosh honey, AGAIN?' Your timing looks good so far, so hopefully you O soon! And I hear you about balmy weather - it's nearly 45 degrees here today, and I'm running around without a coat on. I know, i'm living on the edge :)
AFM, not sure i'll test this month until AF is really late. She was late last month, and we see how that ended up. On the way home from the grocery just now, I got very depressed. Some sad song was playing ont he radio, and I was just picturing what it will feel like to finally get that BFP.... I will cry, and cry and cry. As will DH. I got teary-eyed in the car, praying that this happens for all of us soon. I know, I'm a sap today!
Off to cook, and watch the 'Puppy Bowl' on animal planet.... yup, we're mega-dorks!
Holly - when are we jumping over to the Sticky chickies Feb Thread? I can't wait to see our updatd front page.... fewer chart links, because of more group BFPs!!!
Just read this about the octuplets mom... she's now seeking $3.1 million from media outlets, including money she plans on receiving after speaking with Oprah and Diane Sawyer on GMA this week. That's just sick... in the back of mind, I had a feeling that such shows as 'Jon and Kate + 8' (which I LOVE by the way) has set a tone for this country, and now people are willing to risk their life to have a large brood that can be oogled by the world for $$. Y
uck.... just please give us 2 healthy kids please!
