Amy & Holly- You girls are so funny!

Amy- 24 is a fantastic number! It shows that you had a strong, healthy o! That's so great. And LOL about the hanging up a shingle and your 1950's RE. I must admit, I did think your RE was old-fashioned (not to mention a tad sexist!) that he had to ask DH's permission to treat you. That was hilarious!

Holly- My Progesterone test is tomorrow too! I took Crinone (vaginal progesterone) last month (the IUI cycle. I think all injectibles call for vaginal progesterone after ovulation because the hormones mess with your body so much that you may not naturally produce any progestone), and I took my last dose on Monday night, and had AF on Thursday. I had a pretty normal LP. I don't think vaginal progesterone affects AF that much, whereas PIO (progesterone in oil; a more potent injectible) does.

AFM, I'm thinking either the trigger messed with my body somehow, or maybe I ovulated a poor quality egg (that's probably more likely). Either way, I guess we'll see tomorrow...

Oh....I forgot. My RE does beta tests at 14dpo, exactly one week after the prog test. It stinks, because my natural LP is only 12 dpo. I can barely make it to the 14! He does it anyway to make sure you're definitely not pg since the fertility meds can cause defects in an existing pregnancy (which I find kind of ironic).

I'd actually be glad (in a tortured sense) if the progesterone delays my O. AF is due the same day as it was one year ago (the cycle we conceived).

Em- Does the progesterone level show if I ovulated more than one egg? Just curious cuz of the clomid and all. What would it be if I ovulated more than one? What was yours again when you had the 8 follies?

Holly- That is too weird a coincidence!!!! I would be nervous too. A friend of mine has a mom who works in the PICU at a hospital in Colorado Springs and the nurses there had a theory going around that seemed to be proven several times that women often have a fertile time of year when they tend to conceive, so although the outcome last year was not that good, perhaps this is just your fertile "season"! I hope you get a BFP this cycle and put all those fears to rest!!!!!

Em- That sucks about the HCG level. I have like 13 orders for hcg in the computer for me leftover from the ectopic when 9 different drs were monitoring me and sending constant HCG orders for me. the lab tech today actually pulled one of them and I told her I didn't need that yet. I am amazed at my willpower but I am also realistic about this cycle and results on 8 dpo! LOL. I could just go in and use one, but I don't know which dr it would go to and if they would get mad at me for using it!!!!!

Bryanna-

Holly- (((Hugs)))) I know that the next couple of months will be tough for you. I just hope that you are pg and puking by the time any of those anniversaries come up with your sweet angel baby.

Amy- They told me that my levels were off the charts high, but I never got a number (goes to show, I guess). The number does (or should) go up with the more eggs you have (remember, each time you ovulate an egg, it creates a corpus luteum cyst, which starts producing progesterone. More eggs=more corpus luteum cysts=higher progesterone, unless there is a defect in one or more of the c.l. cysts). I think I read that a normal "twin" level is 40-100, but who knows. Even at 24, I think you could *possibly* have twinkies :-) By the way, you're a good girl. I would have done the beta test, and then played dumb in front of the Dr. LOL

Bryanna- Glad you're okay :-) Definitely show us the pic!
