Storage temp of PG tests

Hi,

I thought I posted this earlier, but I don't see it, so here it is again.

Does the storage temp of a pregnancy test effect it's correctness? I store mine in my hall closet, and we don't have A/C (we live in Switzerland and nobody has A/C). It has been hot here and I wonder if my tests have been compromised.

I am only asking b/c I got a BFN today, but still no AF. I have nothing else to do but wait and ask neurotic questions.

Any suggestions? It is cooler in the mornings when I test, so the test is regular room temperature when it is used.

Thanks a lot!

Do you still have the instructions or box that came with your HPT? I believe somewhere on one of those, you should find the recommended storage temps of the HPT. If in doubt, I'd suggest calling the HPT manufacturer (a toll-free number should be on the box?) and asking them your question. I believe it's possible that heat could impact your HPTs while they're being stored.

Good luck to you!
