Strange cervical mucus

Hello there.
I'm fairly new to these sort of forums, so please bare with me on this if I do something wrong or repeat a question that has been asked.
My husband and I started trying to conceive our first child about a month and a half ago (during my last ovulation cycle).
I had my period on the 5th of May (it ended 6 days later, perfectly normal) and started checking my cervix and cervical mucus after that to determine when I'm ovulating (something I've always done even before this).
Normally, when I ovulate its about 17days (+/- a day or two) after the first day of my last period. So far, I have yet to ovulate or receive any of my regular tips that I'm going to ovulate.
However, the last few days...I want to say 5 days now, maybe, I have noticed a weird change in my cervical mucus. Its still creamy/milky in color, but has strange white chunks in it. Similar to when you add only a small amount of water to flour and it becomes thick and runny, do you know what I mean?
Its very strange, it looks almost pure white.
There's no odor, discomfort, nothing of that sort so I'm positive its not an infection or anything of the sort.
Does anyone know what this is? How anyone else experienced this before? Thank you for your help and again I apologize for the bit of TMI and if this has been asked before.

I'm certain I haven't O'd yet. When I do, I always gets cramps over my left ovary and deal with a lot of EWCM. My cervix also has opened up/softened yet.
I did notice today, when checking, that the little globs are gone. Still milky/creamy, but no lumps. Kind of curious about how quickly they vanished, but I'm not complaining, it was weird. :P
Thank you for getting back to me, glad to know someone else has had it before.
Well, I have never had the clumps but my EWCM is not so EW... It is still milky in color but it stretches like crazy so I would say just that everyone is different... Sorry, not much help from me but I just tell you what I have experienced.
