In tears with frustration....

I found you all a few weeks ago. You have all helped me so much, thank you! I am posting here now because I am at a loss. I wanted to join a group for next cycle, I am not sure what to do.

My husband and I have been ttc for about four months w/o bbt's. Last month I had lots of pg symptoms including perfect implantation bleeding 6 dpo. Then AF showed up right on time. However, it stopped about 12 hours after it started with a little spotting the next day. I figured I was getting off lucky for the month until a few days later I realized my bbs were still hurting. Well, here I am one week later with even more symptoms;headaches, tired, my bra doesn't fit, salty taste in my mouth (ever heard of that one??). I went to the dr and took a upt and it was BFN. I asked for a quantitive blood test because with my other two pregnancies it took longer than usual for my tests to go positive. The doctor said no. He told me to wait and see. What do I do? I feel like I am going crazy. It was bad enough waiting for AF...

Sorry for the book. Thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry your Dr. is being difficult! Why can't he just do a simple little blood test if that's what you want? Grrrrr. Mine would...I love my Dr and it makes all the difference. Your symptoms certainly sound hopeful- especially the implantation spotting and the very short AF.

Hang in there sweetie~ I'm sure you'll see your BFP soon!

Hi, It really wierd to me that your Dr doesnt want to take a B/t if you requested one. If I was you I would else where and request a B/T. It is possible you can be PG with out a POS. How many dpo are you now? are you charting?

I think it was very rude of you Dr to tell you no!! ..Just my opinion

Thanks for your support. It is very confusing. My body says one thing and the tests say another. I tried to get in to see my OB/GYN and they won't scedule and appointmen until my pregnancy is confirmed with a test. Isn't that strange, considering I see her every year for my yearly exam?? I have to deal with my PCP who is usually great. I just don't think he understands.

Thanks again!

IMO.. I'd either demand a quantitive b/t OR.. I'd go to a different dr and request it.

I think everything sounds right in line with pregnancy. (I also usually don't show positive on hpt's.. and only on quantitative tests later...)

GL! Let us know what happens!

HUGS!

I want to thank all of you for your support and help. I called the doctor back yesterday and got pushy with the nurse. She talked to the doctor and got me my quantitive test. I am so excited. I will finally know for sure. What a rollercoaster couple of weeks for me. At least it will finally be over one way or the other (and I really think it will be a BFP!!). I will keep you posted and thank you all!

So glad they finally listened to you! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it's BFP!
