Temp change w/ each hour of sleep? Help!

For the last couple of days I have unexpectedly been waking up a couple hours early so I would take my temp., go back to sleep, and then take it again when I woke up. But the temp changes are so spread that it would mean the difference if I O’d or not!

Wednesday 4:00am - 96.6 then at 6:00am - 97.6

Thursday 4:15am - 97.0 then at 6:00am - 97.9

Which temp do I go with?

Thanks, Amy

Hi Amy. I'm no expert but according to Ovusoft software (and TCOYF), the rule is your temp increases approximately .1 every 20 minutes or so.

I really am trying to take my temperature the same time every day, but it's so hard. I even moved into the guest bedroom to avoid my snoring husband and puppy, but in the middle of the night *poof*, I just wake up. I've been like that the last few years.
