temp question

i have a question re: temp. and charting. some weekends i stay at my best friends house, so i cant take my temp. like i normally do. for ex. this morning my thermometer was in my bag, so ihad to go downstairs to get it adn then take my temp. ( i took it before goign back upstairs). same kinda thing happened last weekend. if i know this is most likely going to make my temp. seem higher should i correct it myself and enter in a few tenths of degree lower or should i just enter what it says and allow a small error % in the chart? during the week i am usually really good about taking it right when i wake up before getting out of bed.
