Hey ladies, so I am currently reading "Taking Control of Your Fertility" and I am at the taking your temp section in the book, page 75-77 for those who have the book.
So I might be wondering before I read but I wanted to know...So taking your temp gives you a better idea when you ovulated or when you do...Women take their temps because they use it as a way to know right when they are about to OV or to know when they just did???
Currently I am day 3 on AF and will be TTC and this month will be our third time trying. My DH and I want to do whatever it takes to get it right this time and I started temp day 1 of my AF and so far so good. So how do I know when I'm about to ovulate so I can BD??? I'm so confused. I want the best chances possible.
I'm also working on a chart...the written one, but if you can rec. a good one online that maybe one of you can check out and see if I am doing it correctly that would be much appreciated.
Much Love...

Hi,
The temping is so that you can tell when you've Ovulated.
Although in the future when you have a few charts and know your cycle you may be able to tell the day you are due to Ov if you get a temp dip on the day of Ov.
www.fertilityfriend.com
is the site that a lot of people use.
There is also one on ivillage but I prefer the FF site.
Charting is a great way to learn your cycle. I know from mine the day AF will arrive bc my temp drops a lot on the morning where AF will start in the afternoon. And it can help identify problems such as short LP or low progesterone.
Good luck

Can someone look at my chart and tell me what they think?
I thought it went up, I have no clue why it did not come up, I'll try it again.

I reposted my chart, please let me know if you aren't able to view it.
Are you sure that you are looking at my chart?
