Temperature Adjusting?

Ok, I had to wake up an hour early today for work. Should I adjust the temp? If so, by how much? Since I'm 5dpo I suppose it doesn't really affect the chart too much--except that I'm depserately looking for some sign of triphasic-ness!!!!

Thanks!

LJ - when I wake up early I do not adjust my temps at all.. it is when you sleep late... you are *supposed* to adjust your temp DOWN .1 for every half hour later.. but I have found that to not be too accurate... like this morning for example... I took my temp at 8:00 it was 97.9 and then went back to sleep... just for kicks I took it again at nine thirty when I actually got up... it was 98.0... so if I had overslept... and then temp adjusted that would have been wrong! So, I think from now on I am sticking with whatever temp the thermomater says...

It's a judgement call really. I guess you could adjust it UP .1 for every hour you were early.. whatever makes you happy!

Good luck!

If you still got your 3 hours of consistant sleep and took your temp without getting out of bed then its not going to make a crazy amount of difference, if anything maybe only half a degree but that is pushing it. I had done that a few times myself and it didn't make much difference, obviously, as I'm 6weeks preg now.

If you are still worried about it just put in the temp, make a note for that day under your data and continue on. I wouldn't discard it at all!
