Is there a way?

Ok so I have my appt tomorrow with the ob/gyn (finally!) and I'm excited at the prospect of getting some kind of idea about what is going on with me. Well, I've been talking to one of my friends at work and she keeps bringing up "you just need to get regulated" She keeps saying how she hopes that the doc can regulate me. So my question is...is there such a way to regulate somebody to a shorter (like 30 day) cycle without using BC? I was regular at about 35 days before going on the pill then of course, 28 days while on the pill. Then when I went off the pill I had a cycle of like 60 days then 48 and now...140ish and still counting. Sorry, I'm rambling. Anyway... My question is...Is there a way to regulate my cycle without BC?

I really don't know...
I hope doctor has a way to bring you back to your old body schedule, like 35 days or so...
He has to identify what's going on, then treat it. But it looks like to me some docs like to take care of the symptoms like giving BC rather than figure out what's the cause of the change...
i hope you can get some answers, It's not fair, you deserve it.

Good Luck, you're in my prayers

Hugs!

I think they would probably test your hormones to see if you have PCOS or maybe your thyroid isn't working properly or something.

My thyroid is fine. I got that tested recently. The rest of my hormones I have not had tested yet. I have had no signs of PCOS at all. Also, I was put back on BCP (one round) by my doc back home (Nebraska, I'm in AZ now) to see if that does anything. It was just a temporary fix until I found a doc out here. That's why my temps are higher. I've been on it for 12 days.

Thanks for all your input!

I highly reccomend finding an acupuncturist (or acupressurist if you can't stand the idea of needles) who specializes in fertility issues. It's really amazing what they can do by stimulating different parts of your system & using a little bit of chinese herbs. I went

I'll have to keep that in mind. I don't care for needles so I would probably lean a little more towards accupressure. I'll have to check around and see if anybody knows of any place around here. (I'm still pretty new to AZ and am still learning where things are and what areas are safe)
