Things that can help vs. hurt fertility

I know that two months of TTC is not that long, but I am starting to wonder if DH and I are doing things that are hurting our chances. For example, he works on his laptop constantly, so I asked him to use a TV tray or table instead, which he started doing last night. I also drink a lot of caffeine, and I am wondering if that is hurting as well. Does anyone know other things we can do or avoid doing that can help chances of TTC? And if so, how long would it take to make a difference? Would cutting out the laptop and caffeine help right away, or would it take a while?

Hi hun,
I've also heard the thing about laptops and sperm count. Surely with men, hot showers and tight undies are bad for their sperm. Caffeine isn't good for you or him and neither is smoking. Avocados, nuts, and fruits n' veggies are good for both of you. For women the changes are months to month, but for men, it takes nearly 3 months for their supply to change.

Hope this helps!

I haven't heard anything about laptops, but have seen alot of women cut back on their caffeine intake to help with ttc.

I asked my gyn about the laptop thing and he told me it's not something we really have to worry about. DH uses a laptop tray anyway.
I don't drink any caffeine at all but DH drinks a lot of soda. I wish he would cut back but he doesn't seem concerned.
