Hey, ladies!
I read somewhere on here (the article section, I think) that vitamin A is good for us (carrots, V8 Splash, etc.) while vitamin C is good for men.

Started Clomid 100mg 5/2009
This is my first month of using it and i can definitely tell a difference. i have lots more ewcm. and i'm on clomid so that's good! i started drinking it when af showed and i'll prob give myself a break from it after o. it's funny that everyone seems to like the berry blend. that's what i like too. i drink one glass a day or one single bottle a day. seems to work for me:-)
I don't see where it could hurt.
I'm going to pick some up today!

I don't think it would hurt either, but I just want to say one thing about vitamin A just in case anyone is thinking of skipping the carrots and going straight to vitamin A supplementation: It is possible to overdose on vitamin A and, in fact, it is very dangerous to take high levels of vitamin A during pregnancy (it can cause serious birth defects).
However, carrots (and V8 Splash, and other orange vegetables) actually do not contain vitamin A. Instead, they contain beta carotene, which can be converted by your body into vitamin A as needed--you cannot overdose with this because your body only converts what it needs. The worst that can happen to someone who consumes too much beta carotene (which can happen to babies who are starting on solid foods but only eat the orange veggies) is that the pigment builds up under their skin and they actually turn orange until their body is able to use up the excess carotene. On the other hand, an overdose of vitamin A can be lethal for babies.
So take all the beta carotene (orange veggies) you want, but avoid supplementation beyond what is in your prenatal vitamin.

Thanks so much for that info.
Well I have read that everyone that is drinking V8 splash. I haven't seen any around here. I picked up V8 fusion and hope that is equal to the splash. I went to three stores and couldn't find it. Its like they are sold out around here.
What do you ladies think??

The Fusion just has less vitamin A, I think.
(I like the Mango-Peach Splash.)
