I just had a miscarriage, and I was wondering from those who've had a miscarriage before. If your cycle immediately went back to normal? Or did it take a little while for your cycle to get back on track? What can I expect for this cycle length? I am going to start temping and

Sorry for your loss! My 1st cycle was like 6 weeks long instead of 25 days. It may depend how far along you were. Early mc seem to have little effect on people's cycle.where those who were farther along seem to take a little longer. I think I'm an unusual case, but I'm still not quite back to normal after 8 months. I hope you get a sticky bfp soon!

Yeah, my midwife said we could start trying as soon as we want to, and are emotionally ready to try again. So we're just going to keep on keeping on. I had my miscarriage at 6 weeks, so I'm hoping that my cycle will just get back to normal asap.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a difficult thing to endure. I had two back to back in 2004. The first one was happening as I found out about it. It was a natural m/c and two weeks later I O'd and conceived again and lost that one as well. We weren't

First, I am so sorry for your loss. My first m/c was at about 5 weeks and my cycle was longer by a few days, then the next cycle was even longer and then the last cycle before I got pg was even longer I didn't O until cd24. My second m/c started on 10/22 and I had a d&c on 10/23. I got AF 11/26 and it was really light. Light flow for a few days then spotting for 2 then light for one and then spotting and now it seems like it is ending. I did not O in between the d&c and this AF. I would definately chart so yoou can follow this cycle and know what is happening with your body. The way a m/c affects the body is different for each woman. I hope you are able to get a sticky bfp real soon !

Yeah, that's what my midwife said too, that you're very fertile after a miscarriage. Something about the lining in the uterus being very ready. She even told me the day I found out I had a miscarriage that in two weeks, your husband will probably look very good to you, so go for it, if you're emotionally ready. So that's what we're doing. I just hope it works out! My midwife is pretty funny...

((hugs)) for your loss!

My situation is a little different as I had an ectopic pregnancy back in August/Sept. Some things are the same though, if you had a D & C, your numbers are probably down to zero already, but if it was natural it might take a little longer. Once my numbers hit zero, I had a very long period and the a short 21 cycle where my LP was only 7 days and I normally have a 14 day cycle like clockwork. You can see my first cycle back in my FF ticker- it is the october cycle in case you are interested. I was told the first

I'm so sorry for your loss - it's such a hard thing to have to deal with. I had a m/c with my 1st at 9 weeks September 2007. Had to get a D&C as it was a missed m/c. I got pregnant again the next cycle (approximately 6 weeks after) and m/c again at 7 weeks. Doctor put me on b/c for 1 month to regulate and we got pregnant for the 3rd time 12/07. Have a BEAUTIFUL 15 month old to prove it! I'm not much for help as I did no charting, etc. but I know that any knowledge I could obtain during that tough time was powerful. Good luck and hang in there!

I'm so sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))

I had a m/c at the end of May/beginning of June this year. Mine was a natural m/c, meaning I didn't have a d&c. My cycle went back to semi-normal the first month, and then was normal the second month.

I pray healing for you, and that your cycle gets back to normal asap!
