TMI...but your advice would be priceless

I'm on day 11 and expecting to ovulate on day 13 or 14 calendar wise. This month I'm trying to abstaining from BD until the CM is prime because a)I want DH to want to BD real bad at the right time and b)I get very confused monitoring CM when semen is in there.
OK, so I've been carefully checking cervix position and CM each day and since my period finished it's been low and with creamy CM consistently.
Today, it's still low, same position. But there was a big goop of VERY THICK, very stretchy CM right up there at the cervix opening (which is still very small, like a dimple). Does anyone know whether this means:
1. BD quick 'cos this is the best CM
OR
2. Wait another day or two and hope to see lots of consistent stretchy CM but not THICK like today... maybe today's was a plug loosening?
I'm SO SORRY this is TMI but I really would love your advice.
Thanks for listening!

At my annual exam a couple of weeks ago, my Dr actually did call it a "plug". This should preceed the EWCM - which will be thinner & stretchy.
Good luck!
Sounds like fertile CM to me, I would be BD'ing now, and everyday until it has dried up. I know you are worrying that it's not time yet, but the sperm can last for 72 hours so even in you bd today, and O in the next couple of days, you could still get pg. Imagine if you decide to wait, and cm is dry tomorrow. You would be so sad if you missed it.
Get down to it and don't stop until you are sure O has been and gone.
Good luck

You might add OPKs and/or charting to your regimen if you really want to make sure you don't miss it.
Good luck to you!

Well other than that big goop today seems to have gone back to sticky and creamy, nothing else in sight at the moment but I will be keeping a very close eye on it!!!
Thank you again for helping!
