Trying to conceive

I am new here. However, I have been reading on this site for a few months. I have went off of BC in June when I got married. My AF has been normal since. We have been trying to conceive since June. I was supposed to start my AF on September 25th, but I didn't. So, I took a HPT and it came out positive. I didn't believe it, so I took another one and it was faint, but there. So, here I was all excited and then I got my period on Oct. 1. I went to the doctor and he said the tests were false positives. I had never heard of this happening. I was devistated because we were so excited about this. I have no idea why my period was a week late. It has been pretty normal since I have came off of the pill. I just feel so discouraged. He doesn't have any kids and I have 2. I am 29 years old. I read in an article that because of my age it could take between 5 and 7 months to get preg. Well, this will be the 5th month. This waiting is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Even in the best circumstances you only have a 15-20% chance each month of becoming pregnant. I dont mean to be discouraging but thats a fact so if it does not happen even in 7 months, keep pushing on it will eventually.
Stay positive!
