TTC for 1st time & missed period, having symptoms but confused

Hi, I'm new to the community & I'm ttc for the first time. Last month was the 1st month my husband & I stopped using condoms, and we planned intercourse for my expected ovulation window & did this multiple times all last month. Now, I've missed my period, I'm feeling very nauseous, I have a weird ache in my lower, right side I guess where my ovary would be on that side. I'm also having more back pain, more hunger, my teeth are sensitive & my gums are sore & red which is not normal for me, and I've been urinating more than normal, and had what seems like cervical fluid a lot the past few days.

I'm really confused because now it's been 30 days since my last period, and I took a cheap test last night and it was negative so at this point. I realize I need to take one in the morning for best results, and I plan on doing that in about 3 days from now to give it more time. I was just wondering if somebody with more experience could tell me if this sounds like I could actually be pregnant even though that test was negative? Did I take it too early or should I buy a name brand test instead of a cheap test? Could it be that my body has been tricked into thinking it's pregnant just because we didn't use any protection for the first time and my body is confused because it's been exposed to semen & sperm for the 1st time? I'm just really anxious & I need some female support being that I don't have a mother anymore & I've moved with my husband thousands of miles from my home & so this is really difficult to do alone. I know I have many questions, but this is all new to me and I'd truly appreciate any help! Btw, I just turned 32 yrs old, I'm healthy, I usually have my periods at roughly the same time every month, and I've only skipped a period once in my life, but that was right after I had back surgery. Anyway, thanks ahead of time!

From your symptoms it does sound like you could be pregnant!  Have you taken another test yet?  I would suggest taking one first thing in the morning as that will give you more acurate results. While how early the test can show a positive can vary from test to test, the pricier ones are not neccessarily better. If you have missed your period, almost any test should be accurate, but for some people it can take longer to get a possitive result. HTH! Good Luck!
