I don't know if anybody is interested or not, but I thought I would maybe start a little group here for those that have been trying for a while.

Brew, I think that's a great idea! For anyone that doesn't know me I'm Dina and have been NTNP since February 2011 and officially TTC since May of 2011. I'm starting my first medicated cycle using Clomid. I never really wanted meds to TTC and with my cycles I've been finally realizing that I probably need some help to get Pg. We're TTC our first and so it's frustrating not even knowing that I can get pg. I'm just hopeful that the Clomid does the trick for us and that we can get a BFP quickly!

Rebecca - did you do an IUI for DD? She is absolutely adorable :) Hope you get a BFP soon!!

Dina- I know I already told you in the other post, but so glad you were able to start the clomid this month and not have to wait!! I hope this is it!!

AFM - I am on CD 3. AF was not too nice to me last night, so I hope she eases up. Hag.

How's everyone doing? I'm waiting to O after my Clomid, not sure when it will happen since it's my first medicated cycle. I'm going to start OPK's tomorrow on CD 15 since I took the Clomid days 7-11. I normally O late anyway, so I guess it won't be much of a change for me.

I am also waiting to O, CD6 today. I'm not even sure how to fuess when O will be since last month it was CD19 and the month before it was CD13! I'll probably start opks on Monday or so.

How did the clomid go?? Any side effects?

I don't really think I had any side effects. I started on 50mg, so I don't think too many women have side effects until they up the dosage...which hopefully I won't have to deal with. I'm not sure when I'm O'ing, I'm interested to see if my cycle is way different. I'm really just hoping for a longer LP at the very least :)

I guess I am definitely part of this group. I have tried off and on since December 2008 with not one pregnancy... Brew, I can't imagine what you have been going through in an even shorter period of time with all those losses. (((hugs)))

It is very hard to be trying to a long time. I have been all over message boards over the years. I tend to give up on them because people get pregnant and move on and a lot of women don't understand what it's like to actually have to "try". I feel us "old timers" here on the board are a lot more sensitive! At least I know I am! I love you girls though, especially those who stick around to give us updates. Great support group here.

I'm sorry Dina. It really bothers me that insurance doens't cover any of that stuff. MY BFF just went through her second round of IVF and it's amazing what they've racked up in bills. However, the second round worked and she is 15 weeks pregnant, so it was worth it! But, it still really sucks!!

We have about $2000 in medical bills right now for my d&c and it makes me sick.

Anyway....how is everybody doing??? I think relaxing has really helped me this month. I had ewcm for three days, and I got a positive opk today. It was as close to postiive and it could be with still being negative last night, so I knew I would get it today, CD13! Yay :) I will keep temping the next few days toi confirm O, then I will start the progesterone and put the thermometer away and try to continue with my missionto relax.
