TTC, irregular cycles and vacation

DH and I have been waiting TTC for a long time now. We had always planned December 1 as our date to begin TTC. We have a vacation planned for Dec 4-8, which I hope is when I will be ovulating. However, my cycles have been running longer and longer, each month since bcp: 30, 30, 42, 55, 62. I am worried that I might be ovulating before my trip and want to catch that egg! Otherwise, I might have to wait 2 months or more before I have another chance!

I am on CD 18 right now, no signs of ovulation yet. FF predicts CD 34, but I have been so irregular, that is just an average.

This is something difficult to explain to most people- other than TTC community. Advice is needed- I am obsessing. I don't want to miss that egg, but I am also nervous about being pregnant w/ morning sickness on vacation. Also, being in the 2ww on vacation means no drinking or jacuzzi, but I think I mostly would be happier being pregnant. Thank you for the input. My cycles are driving me CRAZY!

I feel for you, my cycles are also getting longer and longer... I will be going on vacation for thanksgiving to visit my DH family, it will be during my fertile period... I am excited because we will get much needed BD time if his dad can leave us alone once in a while but no one knows we are trying so I am going to have to do some heavy hiding of not drinking for 2 weeks... I really hope we catch the egg this month so my saint hood of not drinking

I am almost in the same boat...its stressful.

We have been planning on going to disney world Dec 3-11. My kids would go nuts if it were changed!

My cycle should start Dec 1 (estimated b/c they have gotten a little off). But either way, I'll be on vacation with my 4 kids when I need to be BD'ing! That'll be interesting...

Thank you for your thoughts. I guess this is just a long journey and we can't time everything perfectly. :)
