How is DH's general health? Overweight? What about alchohol or caffeine consumption? Since he is in the military I doubt he is a recreational drug user, but throwing it out there just in case. Heat sources such as hot tubs, hot baths, laptops, or heated car seats can impact too. Have docs run a full battery of tests on his bloodwork and urine to check for elevated levels of anything weird or an infection. Good luck, I hope you find an answer!
