My Tuesday tip is this....have DH drink and nice strong coffee before BDing. It will give those little swimmers the burst of energy they need to get where they need to be!

Great Idea!

Have dh drink orange juice with extra vitamins E & C and Zinc. This will help build up his little swimmers!

By the way, I can only find this Minute Maid Orange juice at Wal-Mart Super Center.

Happy Tuesday! I just bought a new thermometer that had a drawing of the mouth and the variances of your temp with the placement of the thermometer. Apparently the hot spots are located near the back of your mouth where your wisdom teeth are or would be. I know that a lot of mornings before I knew this I would barely get the darn thing in my mouth. Try it out and see if you see a difference. According to their chart and my own experiments, temps can vary from .5 to a whole degree!!!

Good luck ttc! I hope this helps with temping!

Ok, this may not help the conception part, but it is SOOOOO important for the pregnancy part. Take your folic acid religiously! It helps to significantly cut down on some heartbreaking and possibly fatal nervous system defects.

I am so glad we have new CLs who have started up all of this great stuff!

Isn't it great!!

I actually saw this on the male factor board and since dh is low-normal, we thought we'd give it a try. I even asked my dr about it and he said " I can't promise that it will help, but it definately won't hurt"

Dh is also taking some body-building stuff called Z-Mass, its loaded with tons of vitamins, zinc and magnesium, which help counts and mobility. And since he thinks its helping him achieve his "dream body" and helping his sperm, he doesn't mind taking it.

We deal with some much and do so much, its about time we get our men involved!!!

(((((HUGS))))) to all!

Exercise, exercise, exercise!

I finally started a year ago and have never felt so good! Yoga, pilates, stretching, weight-lifting. Just get your heart-rate up a little everyday, it is so good for your heart and lungs and cardio-vascular system. I didn't start to do it to lose weight, and it's a good thing too, b/c I havn't lost a pound. But now I have excellantly toned muscles. It can also help prevent osteoperosis, heart disease, and so many other things. It is also a good influence on my son. He sees me get up and do my workout, and he stands there with me and does it with me. He learns that taking care of your body and eating well is very important. It is also ssoooo good to get your body in good shape for pregnancy. Tone up those muscles so they are nice and ready for that tough chore of carrying around a baby, it gets your hips and pelvis ready for holding the baby, and so on and so on. If you are healthy before a pregnancy, then after, the extra weight will come off that much easier. I also read a study if you exercise during pregnancy( after you talk to your doctor and are careful of course), it actually improves the baby's brain function. Babies born to mothers who exercise were shown to perform much better in learning activities than mothers who didn't exercise. I didn't mean to go on so much, but I think it is so important for your health, and all your future babies health!!

Love and hugs,

Stacy

OK, this may be a little tmi, and I don't know if it really works, but it can't hurt so here it goes...

During BD, try to have an orgasm after DH does. I've noticed that it seems to keep leakage down, which must mean that more of the swimmers stay inside...

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

YES! I have heard this is a good thing too. The orgasm ripples the muscles to pull the swimmers further up where they need to be!

If only we were all so lucky-heehee ;oD
