Uncomfortable BDing

Hi ladies,
I'm really hoping someone can give me some insight. Lately, I've noticed that sometimes when we're BDing I get a tightening, almost cramping feeling in the area around my ovaries. It's not a constant pain, but uncomfortable and feels a bit like a twinge of cramps.
It doesn't happen every time we BD, but I realized this didn't start happening until after I was off BC (I stopped taking BC mid-Aug.)
Anyone else ever experience this? My guess is when my cervix is in a certain position it causes these "cramp" pains?? Maybe I've always had these pains, but didn't notice them when I was on BC because I didn't pay as much attention to my body?
Any thoughts?

Thanks and I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Do you check your cervix position? It could very well be because of the position of your cervix if it doesn't happen all throughout your cycle. I find that it's uncomfortable

He could be hitting your cervix, but this should happen less when you are ovulating because it means your cervix is softer and higher. Still, if that is the case, changing positions and asking him to go in less deep should help.

However, if the pain continues, you should probably see your doctor about it. Since you mentioned it is around your ovaries, it could be something like fibroids or ovarian cysts. These are not usually serious conditions, but they may interfere with fertility (as well as comfort during BDing) so you should get them checked out.

Does this happen primarily right before AF is due? I know for me, I have weird cramps when my uterine muscles contract (like when I climax), but it only occurs right before my period. It could also very well be the position of your cervix too.

I don't check my cervix, so I can't conclude if the discomfort only occurs when my cervix is positioned in a particular way. I'm temping and checking CM and will see if I can pinpoint a time in my cycle when the discomfort occurs.
It's nothing painful, just a bit uncomfortable and I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks for your insight!
