Hello!

I have been ttc for three years now on our own without any medical assistance. I also have had a fibroid for the past three years also, and wonder if

maybe that is the cause. Has anyone ever experienced either issues or has anyone been able to concive fine with a uterine fibroid?

I am actually scheduled next Friday to have it biopsied bcuz my doc is worried about how much pain and also how much bleeding I have.

Thanks for your feedback and the reasurrance! I guess I will just take care of the fibroid biopsy to make sure it's all a-ok before thinking about even getting pregnant.

Hi.. Yes many women have conceived with fibroids, but going on for 3 years should be an alarm that there is a problem (regardless of your age).

I tried to conceive for several years with fibroids.  I had several doctors will tell me that they aren't the problem, but they can be, even an RE kept telling me he didn't know why I wasn't conceiving, all of my (and my husbands) test results came back very good.  I finally found a doctor who was honest with me and told me that they were my problem, because my uterus was full of them (I had no room for the egg to attach).

If you are having bleeding and pain problems that could be the fibroid(s)or something else.  There are surgeries to remove the fibroid(s) then you might be able to get pg afterwards.  Good Luck.
