VB6, soy milk and lighter AF

Since I started to take VB6 (100mg per day) and soy milk (one 10oz cup per day) two months ago, AF has been unusually light and short. I read on the internet that light/short AF means insufficient female hormone, which is bad for getting pregnant.

Called OB's office, left message, but nurse did not call me back.

Anybody has similar experience?

Shall I discontinue VB6 and/or soy milk?

Although I am not taking soy milk, I am using B6 and haven't noticed too much different yet other than an earlier ovulation day. I did some reading on soy isoflavones though and it did have some info on how too much can actually negatively effect a woman's fertility. I just googled it and looked into it, sounds like you should too. My OBGYN told me that she doesn't advocate any "supplements" so Dr.'s will generally tell you that they wouldn't do it.

Thanks!

Yes, my O-day is also earlier this past cycle. I guess that's the effect of VB6.

First I would ask your doctor to do a lab of your hormones. It is an easy test and can save you a lot of time and wondering. My doctor recommended Vitamin B6 100 mg 3 times/day as well as Omega 3 (1000 mg) daily, Green tea supplements, and mucinex days 10-14 (I know, that one surprised me). The mucinex is supposed to help with mucus during ovulation. I've been doing the B6 for one cycle and my ovulation was only 1 day earlier than normal, and I am very consistent. I'm trying whatever my doc says since we've been trying for 18 months with no success. My cousin recently got pregnant on PreSeed - look into that as well. She had very inconsistent cycles and tried it twice and was successful. We will be trying that next hoping to avoid the expensive fertility shots.

I have read about & actually tried the Mucinex this month & I could really tell the difference.
